Title: Mobile Shopping Apps Adoption: A Systematic Literature Review
Abstract: 
Despite the explosive growth and popularity of mobile shopping fueled by proliferation of smart phones due to the high level of convenience offered in search, evaluation, purchase and post-purchase, academic research is still in its infancy. This article is a systematic synthesis of various theories and models on studies of determinants of M-Shopping apps adoption and post purchase intentions and behaviors.  The theoretical approach indicate a heterogeneity of theoretical models used and dominant logic of extending the theoretical approach from e-commerce and m-commerce to Mobile Shopping Apps (MSA) adoption behavior by modifying or /extending the model.  The most popular models being Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) along with its successors UTAUT and UTAUT 2. Hedonic motivation is most significant factor of Mobile Shopping Apps (MSA) adoption followed by Performance Expectancy, Habit, Facilitating Conditions, Social Influence and Effort Expectancy. The most significant antecedent factors of attitude towards making purchases using Mobile Shopping Apps (MSA) were Hedonic Value and Utilitarian Value; and for Attitude towards App Usage were Perceived Informative usefulness, Perceived Entertaining Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use.  Perceived Ease of use, was most important antecedent of Customer Engagement with Mobile Shopping Applications’ (MSA)’s while Re-patronage Intentions were strongly influenced by Satisfaction with the apps. The results are limited by its narrow focus onMobile Shopping Apps (MSA) adoption in smartphones, selective geographical regions. The study makes recommendations with regard to future research directions.

Dr. Rajat Gera is currently working as Professor (Marketing) in Faculty of Management Studies and Director Research (Management andBusiness studies), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad since March 2019 and has previously worked as Professor and HoD, Department of Management and Commerce, Manav Rachna University, from February 2016 till March 6, 2019 where he was also DRC chairperson for PhD programs, and Academic Council and Management committee member. Dr Rajat Gera is Ph.D. in Management (2014) from University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi and PGDRM (Marketing) from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), (1990-1992, Full Time) and B.Tech. From Allahabad University. He has over 30 International and National publications and is the author of two books. He has authored cases which have been published by Richard Ivey Business School and (available at Harvard Business School Publishing) and London Business School, UK. He is visiting faculty for “Centre for Marketing”, Asian Minor studies, Fontys University, Eindhoven, Netherlands, under the Erasmus Mundus scholarship program of European Commission and at ISS KIMEP, Almaty, Kazakhstan.. He has industry experience of over six years with leading Public and Private sector companies in Sales and Marketing and Operations. He has been associated with Management development programs for BP, BHEL, BEL, NTPC, ONGC, Airtel, Vodaphone, and various other organizations of repute. His areas of research interest are modelling the linkages of service quality with behavioural intentions, e-service quality, service quality structure and measurement, e-learning and corporate reputation. His teaching interests are Services marketing, Marketing Strategy, Product Management, Entrepreneurial Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Strategic Management. Some of his achievements are Associate Fellow-Euro Med Academy of Business, 2013-2014, Euro Med Research Institute, Greece, Third ranked case in Case competition by Aditya Birla Centre, London business school, 2010. His research paper Evaluating the Effects of Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Service Value on Behavioural Intentions with Life Insurance Customers in India", published in the International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering, and Technology (IJSSMET) 8 (3), was selected as the outstanding Business and Management article for 2017, Tenth Annual Excellence in Research Journal Awards, by IGI Global.
