Title: Blockchain is a solution to COVID-19: How does blockchain cope with the consequences of the crisis?
Abstract:
Abstract:
The pandemic of the COVID-19 crisis has highlighted the weaknesses of our societies, public authorities and businesses by revealing in particular: the great vulnerability of supply chains, and questions of sovereignty and interdependence, inefficiency overly centralized administrative systems, and, at the same time, the importance of the state in protecting citizens and helping businesses to survive and restart, and the lack of international cooperation and alignment of strategies. The crisis has also reinforced the importance of data, the holy grail for simulating, deciding and forecasting (provided it is accessible, reliable and shared and respects personal freedoms) and the role of finance as an essential and concrete cog of the refinancing strategy. In other words, the crisis has revealed the need to regain confidence between actors of various natures by promoting, making more reliable and securing their exchanges and transactions. Need that blockchains meet very exactly.
