Title: Nexus between superposition of lands, their conflicts and impacts
Abstract:
Through this research it was contributed in understanding the land use conflicts analysis in developing countries, which occupies an important place in social science literature and the daily press; where, the definition of a conflict, compatibility of relationship between actors, their behaviors, attitudes, perceptions, and expectations for competitive land-uses have also been exposed. These conflicts were of different types according to the involvement of stakes of different stakeholders and their spatial and temporal scale. Results further shown that either governments imposed their decisions forcibly or the involvement of powerful personalities ignored local inhabitant’s rights, because in a suppressed society, the political leaders are often provocative and manipulative. That is why against most of the infrastructural development projects, people had adopted violent pathways rather than to accept the decision, which results that local actors were not counseled during planning and implementation of these projects. Thus, the possible causes and consequences of the conflicts prevailing in the developing countries through conflict tree approach, and the relationship between conflict actors through conflict map approach have been disclosed. This research intervenes in the field work to prevent conflicts by creating change in people's attitudes, thought processes and relationships. It also focuses more on supporting processes rather than concrete quantifiable outcomes.
