Biography: 
Dr. Senthilkumar Rajagopal, is an Assistant professor at Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, AP, India and secured his PhD in Biochemistry from Annamalai University, INDIA.  He did his three Post-doctoral researches in Anaesthesiology in University of Virginia, Virginia, followed by Department of Cancer Immunology & AIDS, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University, MA, USA and, Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia, USA.  Dr. Rajagopal is a recipient of Rameshwardasji Birla Smarak Kosh Endowment award from Mumbai Medical Trust, Mumbai, INDIA, Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship from Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, and Combined Summer Research Program Fellowship from 3 Indian Science Academies.  Dr.Rajagopal has more than 15 years of research experiences in various fields such as Alcoholic hepatotoxicity, Voltage gated calcium channels, and protein kinase C phosphorylation, ADAM family, Smooth muscle physiology, G-protein coupled receptor signalling pathways, Neurotransmitters transporters to Central Nervous system.  
He has published nearly 60 research articles in various peer-reviewed international journals, 18 book chapters, 3 monographs and presented a research articles in many number of conferences and proceedings and attended various workshops/seminars in India, Canada and USA.  He is on the editorial/reviewer board in many peer-reviewed international journals such as Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience, American Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, etc.  He has reviewed and screened the abstracts for numerous years for National Biotechnology Conferences and Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS), Reviewer for Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India and also served the special judge for Biophysical Society award at Virginia Piedmont Regional Science Fair-2011.  He has a life member of well-known scientific associations like Indian Society for Atherosclerosis Research (ISAR), The International Science Congress Association (ISCA), Society of Biological Chemistry (SBC), Society for Free Radical Research India (SFRR), The Indian Society of Cell Biology (ISCB) and member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and Science Advisory Board (SAB).  He conducts research in the area of G-protein coupled receptor mediated intracellular mechanisms by Alcohol-induced digestive disorders in the gastrointestinal tract. Currently, he is mentoring graduate students and having research projects from various funding agencies of Government of India.
