Title: Teaching of thinking skills in higher education Through solving problems
Abstract: 
It pretends to show how through the application of diverse methodologies developed by diverse work groups in an international level, in which groups from Harvard University, Eduthink in Spain, among others, it is possible to generate and potentiate critical thinking skills in freshman students of higher education. Thinking Skills not only brings in professional sense to the student, but also contributes to the quality of the citizen.
Biography: 
He is a graduate student in physics at Columbia National University of education, an expert in science and physics at Columbia National University, a master of education at the University of LaSalle in Bogota, Colombia, and a doctoral dissertation in education at the University of Granada in Spain.
Teacher in all education levels with 28 years od experience. For the last 14 years has been University teacher and for the last 10 years has been researching about teaching of thought through basic sciences in Engineering, developing diverse research projects in this line. His research has been presented in diverse congresses in Engineering education in Bogotá, Orlando, Miami, EEUU, Venice, Italy, Munich, Germany, Bilbao, Spain, among others.
The results of his research projects on thought teaching justify a solid pillar for the talk on this subject: “Teaching of thinking skills in higher education Through solving problems".
